Now that business is out of the way, here’s some fun facts about me…

  1. I’m a Certified Personal Trainer and used to manage a boutique gym in Houston with The Perfect Workout

  2. In 2020, I was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award with Women Helping Women 2 Network for my monthly Coffee Clique that’s three years going and strong

  3. I ran the 2014 Paris Marathon in 4:13:14 with 3rd degree-torn hamstrings

  4. I read 2 1/2 books a day in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades

  5. My first job in high school was writing newspaper articles for The Macon County Chronicle, which is how I bought my first pair of Guess jeans

  6. I’m kind of a cat whisperer—no, I’m really, full-on, a major cat whisperer

  7. My father passed away while I was finishing my Ph. D., and continuing anyway is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done

  8. I love traveling and do some of my best work on airplanes for some reason

  9. In 2003, I was on a spoken word CD, Vital Signs that hit #1 on the MP3 charts

  10. I lived in Southeast Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia) with my husband’s oil and gas job for 7 years, during which time I was President of The American Association of Malaysia and The Balikpapan International Women’s Association

No matter what the situation, I find a way to standout and excel.

Let’s the do the same for your book.
